The Blooming Lotus came about after a passion and love for a pure, natural, organic life led me down this path. For years I have been learning how to make my own healing remedies and artisan pieces and always have the urge to share them with other loving, like-minded individuals. Reiki opened my soul and spirit up to the value and true power of alternative healing. I believe that with Western medicine there is a block as it focuses on only the bichemistry and the body. Many of natures gifts are within us and out in nature. In order to be truly well we need to heal the body, mind and spirit.

I am a certified Reiki Practitioner and look forward to adding this modality to my repetoire.

I am also certified in Solution-Focused Therapy; Mental Health First Aide and Threat Risk Assessment.

I have been working as a teacher, counsellor, nurses aide and specialist in the fields of Education and Social Services for over twenty years.

I have also had several commercial and residential mural contracts and have completed and sold artwork at several venues; The Paris Market and The Tofeild Tea House.
